A personal note from the founders  In Spain, we say that a person “opens a melon” (abre un melón) when he or she begins a conversation that is pending and important.In the business world, all companies have a melon just waiting to be sliced. Regarding strategy, brand narratives, branding, design, or user experience. Sometimes they're aware. Other times, they are not. But most of the time, they need someone to help them - or to push them - to open the melon. And that's what we've mastered.

We have both been passionate about opening melons for years. As former co-founders and directors of WANNA, an international award-winning branding and interior design studio based in Madrid, we have applied this innovative vision to our clients' projects in a very organic and natural way. (And by natural, we mean that sometimes we just did it because we couldn't do otherwise, and even that sometimes clients didn't pay for it or didn't hire us to solve these problems). However, we can say that many of our projects were successful thanks to our ability to ask the right - sometimes uncomfortable - questions and answer them with a blend of strategy, narrative and user experience. We enjoyed it. But at some point, we started to ask ourselves some uncomfortable questions as well.

Is there anything else that we can do to help our customers? Is this all that we have to give back to the world?Do we need to have a deeper purpose for what we're doing everyday?

Huge melons; no hiding possible.

After thinking long and hard (and by long, we mean years), we've decided to close the chapter on WANNA and start a new one together. A new one, where we can get the most out of our expertise, our past experience working for major brands in almost every industry, and focus on professionalizing the art and science of approaching the critical issues of strategy, narrative, user experience design, and more. And so here we are. Ready to crack open all those melons in the service of the present and future of brands. In a moment of global polycrisis, brands have the opportunity to be empathetic, to be responsible, to care about the community... and to be meaningful. Otherwise, they will disappear and nobody will care. Well, we will. Because we believe in the power of brands. Every single one of them is a potential social actor. Our goal is to accompany brave brands on this journey to become social agents and together make a real positive impact on our society and culture.
